Glee2 Episode4 drama review

A new kid Sam finally joins the Glee club and is soon spotted by Kurt, who believes him to be gay. This ramps up very quickly when Will decides a little competition is in order and award the couple who performs the best duet will win a dinner for two at a local restaurant.
Finn and Rachel thought that they are going to win, but wanting to keep Sam, the new kid in the club, they decide to perform the most offensive song they can find so that they could not win. However, the rest of the couple wants to win and perform the best numbers that they can.
Artie uses his new romance with Brittany to make Tina jealous, which works mostly because her relationship with Mike Chang is on the rocks. Attention-starved Brittany takes Artie’s virginity, apparently for fun. He catches on and backs out of their duet, completely hurt. After ditching Brittany, Santana suggest to team up with Mercedes and they perform a song called River Deep, Mountain High. While Tina and Mike, the Asian couple performs Sing! by A chorus Line which develop Mike's talent as a singer and not only a dancer.
After having a heart to heart with his recovering father, Kurt realises he can't keep going after straight guys hoping that they are gay and he finally releases Sam from the commitment he made to sing with him and wants to do a duet with himself, performing Le Jazz Hot from Victor/Victoria. Artie and Brittany withdrawal from the competition due to problems that the they have.

Sam did try his hard to get his duet by teaming up with a girl who always look beautiful, Quinn, they perform Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Calliat and they ended up winning the competition with the help of Finn and Rachel who votes for them while the others vote for themselves. They won their free dinner but it turns out to be their first date.
But in this episode, there is a number of scene that is inappropriate for society. In Glee season 1, there is not much scene and i think there is none. But based on the selling reason, maybe the producer wants to add some spice to Glee season 2 by adding some inappropriate scene to attract youngsters or teenagers to watch the drama. The moral value that I get in this Glee episode is always be creative with your work and try your best in everything you do. Don't ever give up. And lastly, don't be too proud of yourself as Finn an Rachel did. Always be humble.
